The 911 GT3 returns to giving customers the option of a manual or PDK dual-clutch transmission. Porsche charges the same for either transmission choice. Unlike a normal 911 or 911 S, the manual transmission only features 6 gears.
The engine in the 911 GT3 is derived from the GT3 Cup race car. It features 4.0 liters, a 9,000 rpm redline, and total power output of 500 horsepower/366 lb-ft of torque. The PDK equipped GT3 hits 0-60 in just 3.2 seconds and hits a top speed of 197mph. The six-speed manual hits 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and gets to a top speed of 198 mph.
The 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 is due to hit showrooms soon. The base price is $143,600 and with options can easily hit $175,000.
