Henrik Fisker, the founder of Fisker Automotive and former design chief of Aston Martin, has announced the production of a new muscle car dubbed the Rocket. The Rocket is a joint venture by Fisker and Galpin Auto Sports (G.A.S) and will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Rocket is going to be Fisker’s interpretation of what the ultimate muscle car should be. No details about power plants, drive train, or pricing has been released. That information is expected to be released at the 2014 LA Auto Show. There is only one single draft sketch of the car available for public viewing at this time.
Fisker has developed and designed some of the most iconic car models which include the BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9, and Fisker Karma. Fisker is probably known most for the futuristic Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid. However, the Karma was pulled from production when the company ran into financial trouble. The brand was then bought by Chinese company Wanxiang America Corp. and plans to launch a reinvented Karma soon.
We will keep you up to date with further information as available.
